If they are not native, what brought them to the particular place they live right now?ĭo the owe allegiance or favours to anyone?ĭo they have an immediate axe to grind with anyone in particular? Why did your character go into the shadows? What might people dislike about your character? What might people like about your character? How far will they go to see those beliefs and ideals progressed in the world (AKA are they political and how far will they go)? What are your character's core beliefs and/or ideals? Is there a particular reason they are so bad at these things? What are some things your character is most proud of? How did they ply these skills in the past? Is there a particular reason they are so good at these things? What were their most impactful life experiences? What was your character's experience growing up? Who were your character's parents/family? What minor quirks/mannerisms do they have? What does your character look like (include race, sex, etc.)? What is your character's date of birth (you can now skim through the timeline and maybe spot some events that influenced your character's life)? In what city and country was your character born? What is the runner handle your character goes by, if any?Īre there any other names or titles your characters might be known as (eg. They will be able to do great things with it during play. Whatever you do, make sure to send a copy to your DM. You do not need to answer these questions in any particular order, and you can write as much or as little as you want, be that as direct answers or as a separate character summary.
This is a fairly exhaustive, but not too exhaustive questionnaire as to who your character might be, where they come from, and where they might wish to go.
